T.J. Dillashaw: Yeah, man. We’d been trying to finalize that fight since earlier this year, and then Demetrius had shoulder surgery, so we had to wait a little bit longer, and now for them to say it’s not going to happen is a little frustrating. I’ve been on a diet since I won my belt. I didn’t take a break. Usually after a fight, you go off of your diet for a little bit and enjoy life. I stuck to it because I knew I had to bring my body mass down. I got into this sport because I love it, and because I love beating people up. I don’t like the politics of fighting, and trying to figure out who you’re going to fight and when. It’s definitely a little discouraging.

BMW is expanding a recall in the U.K. by 312,000 vehicles after a BBC Watchdog investigation found that the issue at the heart of the defect could affect a wider amount of cars.

The initial recall only affected 36,410 petrol cars in the U.K. in 2017, and was due to the risk that an electrical issue could lead to a complete loss of power. In all, it affects BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, Z4 and X1 models built between March 2007 and August 2011.

"In order to reassure customers with concerns about the safety of their vehicles, we are voluntarily extending the recall," BMW told BBC.

"We are therefore announcing today that we will take the proactive step of expanding the existing UK recall to cover all vehicles affected by the power supply issue."

The outlet reports that BMW launched the recall in the UK after a man was killed while traveling with his wife on Christmas Day in 2016. Narayan Gurung crashed into a tree after swerving to avoid an idle BMW that was broken down due to an electrical fault that caused the brake lights to fail and the vehicle to stall.

BBC's investigation found that this could potentially affect a greater number of vehicles than originally thought, which spurred the massive increase of those included in the recall.

BMW says that affected models could "feature a design of wiring configuration that means vehicle vibrations could potentially cause frictional corrosion on the plug of the power distributor."

The issue also dates back to 2013, when BMW recalled 500,000 models in the U.S., Canada, Australia and South Africa.

"The connector for the positive battery cable connector and the corresponding terminal on the fuse box may degrade over time," the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in 2013, according to Edmunds.

"Over time, the high current flow and heat from electrical resistance may lead to a breakage of the connection, and a loss of electrical power to the vehicle. If there is a loss of electrical power to the vehicle, the vehicle may unexpectedly stall, increasing the risk of a crash."
